Do you measure the window wells before manufacturing?
Yes. For installed projects, the well, window and surrounding area are assessed so the cover can be manufactured for the actual opening.
Can you replace an old or damaged cover?
Yes. We can assess a cracked, yellowed or poorly fitted cover and measure the well for a custom replacement.
Do you install covers for casement and egress windows?
Yes. These windows may require additional swing clearance. A raised Atrium (Dome) style design may be appropriate when the window opens outward into the well.
Will the cover keep all water out of the well?
No cover should be presented as a complete waterproofing system. A properly fitted cover helps reduce direct rain and snow entering the well, but drainage, grading and foundation conditions still matter.
How is the cover secured?
The installation method depends on the well material, cover design and surrounding foundation. The project is assessed before the fastening approach is selected.
What should I send with my estimate request?
